How We Got Here

2020 was a year of change and adjustment for everyone. We stayed home and tried to learn how to function in an ever changing environment; uncertainty and a lack of control seemed to be the only constant. 

Whilst we were trying to find our own way through we decided to get creative as a family. We needed a break from home schooling tensions. We started making all sorts of things from objects, stamps, making paintings and jewellery making. We gifted our creations to friends and family. The sense of achievement at the end of a painting or piece of jewellery was fulfilling in itself. The joy of our family and friends with the items we had created also made us happy. We wanted to continue on our journey of creativity but also share the joy, and from there VAM Gifts was born. Spread the joy by receiving or giving a piece that has been hand made with love.

We are a mom (M) and two daughters (V and A) who enjoy spending time together and the zen state of creativity. The creative process allows us to spend quality time together. The creating of a small business and marketing is a great learning opportunity, practical and a real life experience that no amount of home schooling can give. We are having fun and hope to be spreading joy.
